Hypnosis

Change begins beneath the surface

So much of what keeps us stuck lives below conscious awareness — in the subconscious mind that quietly runs the show. Therapeutic hypnosis offers a calm, focused state where real, lasting change can take root from the inside out. You stay fully in control the whole way through.

Therapeutic hypnosis is one of the most direct ways to work with the part of you that runs the show beneath conscious awareness — your subconscious mind. So much of what keeps us stuck (old fears, limiting beliefs, habits we can’t seem to outthink) lives below the surface. Hypnosis offers a calm, focused, deeply relaxed state where real change can take root from the inside out.

This is nothing like the stage shows. You remain aware and fully in control the entire time; my role is simply to guide you into a relaxed state and help your mind do what it already knows how to do. People come to this work for many reasons — easing anxiety and stress, releasing unwanted patterns, sleeping better, building confidence, or finally moving past something that’s held them back for years.

As an RN with a trauma-informed, whole-person approach, I hold this work with care and respect for your pace and your nervous system. Sessions are available in my Centennial studio or remotely by Zoom. Curious what hypnosis could do for you? Let’s find out together — book your free discovery session to begin.

Chronic stress keeps your nervous system stuck in overdrive, long after the moment that triggered it has passed. Hypnosis helps you access a deeply relaxed state where your body remembers how to settle, and where anxious thought-loops begin to lose their grip. Over time, we can reshape how your mind responds to pressure — so you meet life from a calmer, more grounded place. Many people find they sleep easier, breathe deeper, and stop bracing for the next thing.

Most fears live in the subconscious, which is exactly why logic alone rarely resolves them. Through hypnosis, we gently access the root of the response and help your mind form a new, calmer association in its place. Whether it's flying, heights, needles, driving, or something harder to name, you stay fully in control the entire time. The goal isn't to force the fear away, but to help your system feel safe enough to let it go.

The way we show up in relationships is shaped by patterns formed long ago — often beneath our awareness. Hypnosis can help you uncover and soften the old beliefs that drive reactivity, people-pleasing, or self-protection, so you can connect more honestly and freely. This work supports healthier boundaries, deeper self-worth, and more compassion for yourself and others. As your inner world steadies, your relationships often follow.

Mindfulness is the practice of returning to the present moment — and hypnosis is one of the most natural ways to train your mind to do exactly that. In this focused, relaxed state, you learn to quiet mental noise and rest in calm awareness. With practice, that stillness becomes more available to you in everyday life, not just on the cushion. It's a gentle, restorative way to reconnect with yourself.

Lasting change with weight rarely comes from willpower alone, because so much of our relationship with food is emotional and subconscious. Hypnosis works at that deeper level — easing emotional eating, shifting self-sabotaging patterns, and supporting a healthier, more peaceful relationship with your body. Paired with my background in holistic health coaching, this is whole-person work, not another rigid diet. The aim is freedom and self-respect, not restriction.

Trauma lives in the body and the subconscious, and healing it requires more than simply talking about what happened. Within a calm, regulated state, hypnosis can help your mind and nervous system gently release what they've been holding — at a pace that always feels safe. This work is deeply trauma-informed; you remain in control throughout, and we never force anything. Many people experience a profound sense of relief, lightness, and reclaimed power.

Sometimes the source of a present-day struggle traces back to an earlier experience your conscious mind has set aside. Regression therapy uses hypnosis to gently revisit those moments, bringing understanding and healing to where a pattern first took root. Rather than reliving the event, you observe it with new awareness and compassion, allowing your mind to resolve and release it. It can be a powerful way to finally understand why — and to move forward.

When the mind won't switch off, rest becomes a nightly battle. Hypnosis helps retrain your nervous system to wind down naturally, easing the racing thoughts and tension that keep you awake. We can also address the deeper stress or worry beneath the sleeplessness, so rest becomes something your body remembers how to do on its own. Better sleep changes everything — your mood, your energy, your capacity to heal.

Living with chronic illness affects far more than the body — it touches your stress levels, your sleep, your sense of hope. Hypnosis offers a supportive, complementary tool for managing pain, calming the nervous system, and easing the emotional weight that chronic conditions carry. As a registered nurse, I hold this work alongside, never in place of, your medical care. The goal is to help you feel more at ease, more resourced, and more in partnership with your own healing.

Habits become automatic precisely because they're driven by the subconscious — which is why "just stopping" so often fails. Hypnosis helps interrupt those automatic patterns and replace them with choices that actually serve you. Whether it's nail-biting, procrastination, emotional reaching, or another cycle you're ready to release, we work at the level where the habit lives. Change becomes less of a fight and more of a natural shift.

Addiction is held in place by deep subconscious associations and the stress those substances seem to soothe. Hypnosis addresses both — loosening the cravings and the underlying patterns that keep the cycle going. With a trauma-informed, whole-person approach, we support not just quitting, but the healing that makes freedom sustainable. You stay in control throughout, working toward a version of yourself that no longer needs the old crutch.
